From Electrician to Forensic Social Worker

As a Nashville native, I began my career in commercial and industrial electrical contracting as President of D&S Electrical Contractors, Inc. Under my leadership, our company was recognized as one of the "Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies" by Tennessee Business Magazine in 2006. I also became the youngest female in Tennessee to hold a Master Electrician's License. After achieving success in the industry, I chose to close the business and pursue my true passion-working as a forensic social worker, which has been both fulfilling and exciting.

Leadership and Personal Growth

In addition to my work as a forensic social worker, I am a field supervisor at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work and serve on the advisory board for the University of Tennessee Women in Leadership Program. I am also passionate about guest lecturing and look forward to teaching full-time in the future. Outside of work I enjoy reading and perfecting my Olympic lifts.
